Standard Motec surface pumps have a maximum suction lift of 7-8 meters at sea level. For deeper applications, we recommend a self-priming model.

Motec Surface Pumps use silicon carbide vs. carbon mechanical seals. Tungsten carbide seals available for abrasive applications.
Can Motec Surface Pumps run dry?
No, Motec Surface Pumps should never run dry. A dry-run sensor or flow switch is recommended for protection.
